Promote Common Good

We Believe:  The organization of society – in economics, politics, law, and policy directly affects the capacity of individuals to grow in community. Marriage and the family are the central social institutions deserving national and local support in order to strengthen the common good.

We believe people have a right and a duty to participate in society, seeking together the common good and well-being of all, especially the poor and vulnerable.

Scripture Tells Us:  In Romans 12:4-8: “We are one body, individually members one of another.”

Questions for Consideration:

• Is what’s best for the community also what’s best for me?
• Am I willing to engage in opportunities to share in parish projects to assist those in need?
• Do accept the responsibility, as a Catholic, to think globally as well as locally in promoting the common good for all people?
