Saint Bernadette Parish School of Religion (PSR) provides Catholic education for those students attending public schools or non-Catholic homeschooling programs. We serve children in grades 1-8.

Our PSR program uses Loyola Press Christ our Life curriculum approved by the Diocese of Cleveland and supplemental materials to support parents-the first and most important teachers of the faith-to help children grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ and become active members of His Church.

Every volunteer catechist and adult volunteer is VIRTUS compliant in Child Protection and has passed a background check.

Saint Bernadette PSR begins in September and ends in May. Our calendar includes classroom instruction days and additional Catholic experiences such as Mass, Confession, and Empowering God's Children lessons. Our catechists are dedicated to providing a rich educational experience for all of our students.

In addition to classroom learning, our youth ministry program, EDGE, is also incorporated into our PSR program for grades 6-8. EDGE provides all of our middle schoolers the opportunity for dynamic and faith-filled experiences, including encounters with Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament, community building games, nurturing of their prayer life, deepening of their understanding of and relationship with Christ and His Church, and forming Christian friendships.

Fee is $100 per child. Payment is due by September 14, 2026.
$25 late fee will apply following the due date.

Financial Assistance

A child will never be denied admission to St. Bernadette Parish School of Religion for Catholic religious education due to financial difficulty. If you are in need, please contact our Administrator, Fr. Joe Menkhaus.
