By the Sacrament of Confirmation, the baptized are more perfectly bound to the Church and are enriched with a special strength of the Holy Spirit.” This gift strengthens them to live as witnesses of Christ, sharing and defending the faith by word and deed.

Confirmation deepens the grace of Baptism and strengthens each person’s participation in the Church’s mission.
